LottoGo Exposed — Beware the Subscription Button
LottoGo Review
Want to bet on lotteries? Check out LottoGo.com. LottoGo is a former WorldLotteryClub.com and has a bunch of lotteries, games, and scratches. Keep in mind this is about betting and not purchasing lottery tickets. The payout is the same as if you had a ticket in any of the official draws including sharing if there is more than one winner. But if you’re a resident of the United States, don’t look to play here. Anyone else, all bets are on!

How to Claim Your Winnings
Winnings under £50,000 are paid directly to your LottoGo account. Anything over £50,000 can take up to 40 days while LottoGo.com sorts payments out with their insurer. There is no information on who the insurance company is. Click on “withdraw” and your winnings should be cleared between 3 to 5 working days. There is a minimum withdrawal of £10. However, you put the funds originally in is the way you get them back.
How to Claim a Mega Jackpot?
Though in general, LottoGo says that all winnings are paid in a lump sum less any taxes that would be applicable (like in the case of the US lotteries), winnings over £10 million are not paid out all at once. The first £10 million is paid “as soon as possible” after the draw with the rest of the money paid over 19 yearly payments paid within 7 days of the date of the first payment.

Okay – you do have to be 18 years or older and legally able to enter a contract. Lottogo.com is available in six languages – English, Chinese (Zhongguo), German, Finish, Polish and Swedish.

Is LottoGo Legit?
One would have thought with betting; the company would be able to set aside the tax issues that affect lotteries, especially because they don’t have to pay the taxes. It’s also not appealing to think that one may have won the mega jackpot but won’t get all the money right away.
This site looks fairly straightforward though beware of the “subscription” button and what you agree to pay.

Disgusting. Exactly what other people are saying, didn’t realise I was subscribed as it isn’t at all clear. Tried to cancel the account last week, but there’s no way to do it. Emailed them and they came back saying they’d cancelled my account. Woke up this morning to find another £18 gone from my account. Gone into my PayPal account and blocked them taking anymore. I’ve just checked the site and they have cancelled my account, so what’s the £18 for? As all the warnings say, when the fun stops, stop! Good luck trying to stop when you’re involved with this bunch of scammers!

Do not go near. After a lot of money going from my account I too had to stop them taking money by blocking them. It seems to me that according to the terms and conditions as soon as you enter your bank details and tick the terms and conditions box they effectively have complete access to your bank account, a blank cheque and automatic subscription. It says you can cancel any time but that is not true. Under the terms and conditions it says you have to give 7 days notice. That is not the end. It also says you can not cancel unless you have their consent. They have been taken to task by the Advertising Standards Agency but this in no way was enough. Complaints abound on the internet. They are very arrogant. I just hope by the time all my informing authorities is over there maybe a change. There head quarters are off shore, a trading group called Annexio. They have lovely big offices. If you want to pursue legal avenue’s it is them you need to file your complaint with. The address is in there terms and conditions. Perhaps a group should be formed to get our money back.

One of the craziest gaming sites, I won about 90 pounds and gave 12 pounds. It’s a scam.

Don’t do anything with lottogo.com.It was my understanding I would be debited £12.50 per draw. My bank account was then debited within the space of just over a week with the following withdrawals – £12.50 then £19.50 then £30!! They can’t be contacted by phone & I had problems with their online chat room. In desperation I went to my Bank & put a stop to it.
