I have just looked at my bank statement and the lovely Art Union has been taking $30.00 a month out of my account for the last 10 months without my authorisation I was under the impression that I was buying one ticket all those months ago and this is what has been really happening I’m a single mother and there is no way I would sign up for something every month.

I ordered a $10 ticket online for the last lottery. A few months later I received an email saying that my “pre-order” for a book of tickets costing $50 for an upcoming draw had gone through on my credit card. I never agreed to this additional purchase! When I questioned the RSL Lottery they said I had spoken to a Customer Service Agent about my initial purchase and this additional pre-order purchase. The fact is that I never spoke to a Customer Service Agent! I bought ONE ticket online and that was all I had committed to. This is ILLEGAL!!

It would appear RSL art union office has a new marketing team or manager’ every time I open my computer there is an email to buy tickets [even when I have already purchased tickets] so far I have received nineteen (19) emails “one per day up to and including Thursday the 10th” and most likely more to come – another family member has received 21 emails to date. In my opinion this borders of harassment.

I’ve been a VIP member for over 6 years now, I do believe the money goes to the veterans, which is amazing, it’s a bonus if you win something. I do hope this is legit..
Every time I have spoken on the phone to them, they are always lovely and very helpful. Thanks, RSL union you’re doing a great job for our veterans ❤️
Yes but only some of it. You should search on how much the executive staff get as their unbelievable yearly wage, and the eye watering bonuses that they take home after exceeding their quota. I will never support this charity again. Charity seems to start st home and in their pockets
