Won the book token twice now so that four books in total! Same books and considering I have a cellar full its just stupid and a waste of money. I agree with the comments below, why not. gift card even if it’s for Tesco, Morrisons, etc. Pure insult if you ask me!

Won a book voucher and what a kick in the teeth. I have a loft full of unwanted books, so why offer a “book voucher” as a gift? I looked at the pal shop, you have a choice of twenty gifts mainly books in fact 17 are books the rest useless accessories. Like others a gift card for a high street store would have been better like iTunes, Next, M&S,HMV etc and let us choose.

Not happy we are now being offered “gifts etc” as I for one voted against this proposal. I can get out of date books at my library. Talking to other Postcode Lottery subscribers it seems when you first join you win £10 on a regular basis then it stops. Coincidence?

Writing this review on behalf of my friend who has just won the book voucher. My friend has problems reading so books are no good for them. I looked to see if anything was suitable for me as I was told I could have it. I no kid you, the choice is horrendous. Coronation Street 60yrs was one, Cliff Richard was another, BBQ tongs, Sandi tosvig book. £10 gift card would have been better appreciated.
I contacted this lottery as well, to notify them that the winner has learning difficulties and cannot read. I was told “lots of other prizes you can win” which isn’t suitable for a person with learning difficulties mainly books. To also be told “you still have chances of winning money” it’s not about winning money, it’s about this stupid charity understanding that some people cannot read. I was then told, if the winner doesn’t claim their prize it will go to another person in another draw, so basically giving unwanted prizes to other players, thought this was a lottery that keeps going on about charities? clearly not bothered

Finding the winners comments hilarious “EH17 7QZ” vI thought I’d won £1k, you every person who wins £1k gets a call. Let’s not forget “I play for the charities” you play like me and everybody else. I am pleased you won, but the interviews are not becoming scripted. I have played for ten years and won the odd £10. I looked at the winning map and you can see hundreds winning in that area. I am the only one playing in my postcode and the nearest winner for £1k was 83 miles away. I am certain, the more that play in a sector get the large amounts. I have just cancelled mine. I will give to my local charity who hasn’t received one penny from the pcl
