Lucktastic Exposed — Can You Make Some Cash with It?
Lucktastic Review
Looking at Lucktastic (assuming the conceptual use of words such as Luck is Fantastic) it all seems fairly simple and straightforward. This is an application for Android and iPhones for playing scratch games online. Even better, it’s free. So what’s the catch?
Where Do I Start at Lucktastic?
Of course, the first thing players have to do is download the App on their phone, set up an account, and then start to play. Ah – the catch! You have to be a US citizen to play. More on why shortly. Let’s go back to the games. Players win tokens that can be used to get more scratches. The token value (i.e. winnings) is between $1 to $100. What a player wins is divided into what can be used to redeem and what can be used to cash in. It appears, that cashing in means trading that part of your wallet for coupons. One article referenced Amazon Gift Cards though it does look like there are other advertisers that provide coupon rewards.

Consecutive day play is encouraged with the US $5,000 a US $10,000 scratch cards. To “unlock” the US $5,000 scratch card, players must play five days consecutively. Ditto for the US $10,000 scratch card but for ten days. Oops, there is also a US $25,000 sweepstakes that have terms and conditions of play.
How to Claim Winnings on Luckstatic
Players can actually cash out their account as long as it is over $10 either by receiving a check (7 – 10 business days) or using a system called Dwolla. To activate this, click on the Four Leaf Clover. It will open a menu of options. If you don’t have a Dwolla Account, it will walk you through the process of opening one. Dwolla is a US platform for money transfers. It looks pretty professional though it does look like you have to be a US citizen to register.
How Does Lucktastic Do It?
Ah, the catch! Firstly, let’s go back to the ole you have to be a US citizen to play. This is because the site is funded by advertising. It doesn’t appear that this translates into receiving spam but instead prior to playing the scratch card, players are offered advertising to view. You do have a choice on whether you have to read before you play and it does appear that whether you do or not, does not affect winning. But, keep in mind – the more tokens you cash to play, the more advertising you are offered.
What Else?
Surfing around and reading some of the comments players have made, it does sound like the App itself might be a little sluggish, and/or your ability to play depends on how new your phone is. As I am not a US citizen, I couldn’t register to play, I did not find this out firsthand.
Lastly at Lucktastic
Given that you are not actually giving these guys any credit card details (it is free) and the game itself is very straightforward, there can’t be that many questions. But if you do, the operator of the site is Jump Ramp Games out of New York with a snail mail and email address, plus a Twitter account. There are no phone numbers. There are no terms and conditions with any information being provided only in their FAQ.
Why You Should Register with Luckstatic
Pros:
It’s free
Has an app
Why You Shouldn’t Register with Luckstatic
Cons:
You won’t win a mega jackpot
Must be a US citizen
Is Luckstatic Legit?
If you’re into playing scratch cards (I admit it, I am) and you are a US Citizen in the US (and I am not), then this could be some good fun and winnings though it’s not going to be that mega jackpot. Then again, it is free. Lucktastic gets 5.5 out of 10.

This app used to seem legit. I’ve been using it for a few years and I’ve redeemed my tokens for gift cards with no problems in the past. Now, like others have mentioned, you have to install a certain number of “partner apps” even after you have enough tokens to redeem your prize. The problem with installing these partner apps is that when you do install an app, it usually never reduces the number of apps you need to install.

They have started letting you get more scratch cards with winning tokens now because they have changed the way that you can redeem them. If you take notice that there are never any prizes that you can redeem the tokens for anymore and when you try to redeem them they state for you to install “x” amount of partners. That will not get you anywhere either because this app is about the adds for them and not about the winnings for the actual players. Over the past few years for those of you that have been playing for a long time you should have noticed the changes that were made on the rules for redeeming your tokens. All of those changes have benefited jump ramp games and not the players. This is probably what it was designed to do in the beginning of its inception. It was about getting a player base and name recognition. Now that they have accomplished that it’s all about those adds. There are lots of money being made by jump ramp games for showing those adds and they use a lot of very unique ways to get people to watch them. People actually did win small prizes at the beginning of the apps start but now that they have a player base they know there is nothing that can be done legally to change their behavior. Remember this, they have attorneys that design the legal disclaimers that no one ever reads so therefore they know that there is nothing that can change the way that they take advantage of people that download their app. The only way that they will ever change is lose a massive player base but that isn’t going to happen anytime soon because people want to win things and have a false train of thought that maybe it will change but that’s not the way business works. It’s all about profit for them.

When going to redeem, it asks for a phone number to send a confirmation text. I do it, and if I’m lucky enough to get past that screen it ALWAYS says they’re out of stock ?? ok whatever but now I can’t even enter my phone number it just sends an error message. I honestly don’t think you can cash in anything on this app and if you can you better be able to decode the E-Security of Fort freaking Knox. Biggest scam and waste of time of my life. The hundreds of ads I watched and partner apps I’ve downloaded. I’ll never get that time back.

I have had this app for about 2 years, mainly too lazy to uninstall it. Yes they have a great number of prizes for you to redeem using your tokens but once you click on the prize you want, it will not let you select it. Some of the prizes, even though you have enough tokens to claim you have to download and run additional apps in order to receive your reward! I won $2 in the last few years, I need at least $8 more dollars to claim my $2 winnings. Now I just want to see how much of a bullshit app this is. I wouldn’t recommend this app or lucky day app, same bullshit by them too! I have never won any cash prizes, and it’s so difficult to even cash out your tokens for giftcards, which are never available. Pretty much sucks

Scam/Bait & Switch!! I started playing after checking the redeemable listings – a new-member perquisite was a $5.00 Amazon gift card for 20,000 tokens. I played every day and every posted opportunity until I reach the 20,000 tokens last night. The minute I reached that point the OFFER WAS REMOVED from the listings and now I am told that I can redeem for that gift card at 30,000 tokens. Complete waste of time – avoid!
