Playing lotteries online seems pretty intimidating at first. The concept of clicking on a site and providing not only personal information but credit card info is daunting. Icelotto.com presents a professional website. Click on ‘home’ the screen is clear and there aren’t a thousand bells and whistles to distract me from throwing up too much information. But thanks to the feedback from a variety of users, let’s dig deeper!
Who is Icelotto?
Icelotto.com says it’s a London-based company; though their telephone helpline is a +44 area code, we all know how easy that is to set up through any of the different phone services including Skype. Their contact info indicates they are in Cyprus and offers an address. Live chat is presented as well; I was happy to see the green light. When Ice Lotto support is not online, you can leave a message by completing a simple form. There is also an FAQ page that does go on and on and on about how to win.

Icelotto.com provides a platform to play seven key lottery games: Powerball (USA), Mega Millions (USA), Lotto 649 (Canada), La Primitiva (Spain) and EuroMillions (Europe), EuroJackpot (Europe), SuperEnaLotto (Italy). Registration is relatively straightforward and voila, you get an account. Now it is merely your choice to choose which lotteries you want to play. I still am not straight on how you got your ticket, and there doesn’t seem to be any specific information. I would also note that I had to switch computers as my old Windows XP wouldn’t seem to support the site. As soon as I moved to Windows 7, I was in.
Icelotto.com Complaints
I’m not sure whether to feel more confident or more nervous with the lack of reviews online. I could only find Icelotto.com referred to on one side and I went through a lot of them, including reviews and some of the official complaint sites. Webutation gives Icelotto.com a thumbs up (100 out of 100) on all aspects except WOT (Web of trust). Though there aren’t that many reviews and they all date back to 2011, and they are all good. I’m not sure if this is good news or bad news, or if the lack of news means they took a break for a while. Plus, you and I both know how easy it is to blog a site positively! Their “Lottery Results” page is up-to-date with current information. Their “News” and “Articles” does now have information that appears to be also up to date. There is a scrolling bar at the top that announces the latest winners, but I don’t think they actually won through Icelotto.com.

Is IceLotto Legit?
On the surface, this looks like just another online lottery service provider, but I have a few problems. I’m still not sure who these folks are. I also don’t need to be told that gone are the days of purchasing your lottery ticket at your local grocery store which Icelotto.com discusses. I mean I am here on their site so already know about playing lotteries online.
IceLotto doesn’t get thumbs up or thumbs down. We were contacted by their representatives that convinced us that things would change for the better. We sent all of your complaints to the customer service of IceLotto. Anyway, we invite Icelotto.com support to reply to all customer complaints on our site.
I registered with Ice Lotto few months ago. At the beginning I bought by myels. They called me number of times to offer me special packages and I did not want. However, 2 months ago they called me again and I agree dto buy one of the VIP packages. I thought it is a nice package which has personal lucky numbers which I choose and also 50 group tickets. Since then I already won 216 Euros. It is almost the same cost the package I paid for. Therefore, i felt that I have to share my experience with them. I truly was surprised. Another nice thing was that I could see all tickets they bought me (the personal tickets I chose, and all group tickets as well). They scan all tickets to my account. I liked their professional service and I am happy I bought their package, although I thought their telemarketers at the beginning were too pushing. But now I am happy I finally listened to them.
Hi, sorry for my errors, english is not my first language. Well, how can you buy a ticket and play legally the USA lotto when on the offical Mega Millions website they say you can play online if: ”If you are a resident of Georgia, Illinois or Minnesota, you may buy Mega Millions tickets online by registering with the lotteries of those states. You may also purchase subscriptions for Mega Millions online in New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota and Virginia. You must be residents of these states to participate in these purchase options.”
Although I would really like to give a positive review of this site, because that would mean I am not a sap, my experience with them has been horrible. I started buying a few loose Euromillions tickets, and was emailed and called several times a day, with promises of deals which, well, sounded too good to be true. And so I signed up for their Euromillions package, for a month, for which I received a bonus, and I was told that, with that bonus, plus the earnings I already had, and what I would earn throughout the month, I would have a second month for next to nothing! But after that, everything went south. Here’s a break-down of what happened:
1. After a while, it turned out that I could not use the bonus to renew the subscription. This was aggravating, because I had already contacted them specifying that, unless the bonus and earnings in my account could cover the whole renewal, I didn’t want to continue. I received an email telling me they would do that.
2. When the renewal date came along, I checked my account, and surely there was a transaction, sapping more money from my bank account. I contacted them again, and was told the bonus money could not be used for that, but that I could use it to buy other tickets. I was also informed that I had misunderstood their information, and, I don’t know why, I decided not to request a full refund. I was also informed I could that bonus money to purchase loose tickets.
3. I tried to use the bonus money to buy loose tickets from different lotteries, but that did not work, and I had to contact them again. One of their representatives, informed me I could not use the bonus to buy tickets, but I could get a special offer on yet another subscription. Being the sap I am, I thought I could play them, so I agreed, thinking I would cancel right away, and that would be the end of it.
4. This transaction was CHARGED to my bank account, although this time they could pseudo-cancel it. The representative claimed not having noticed I had requested the payment to be made with bonus money, for shame. The refund I got was not a true refund, because instead of being put back into my bank account, it was put into my IceLotto account, because, apparently, they cannot so it otherwise. By that time, I thought I would just wait until the puny wins I was getting, and that money, would add up to a round figure, and cash it out.
5. Decided to cancel all my subscriptions before the renewals kicked in, I contacted them several times. Instead of the hunt for customers they do to get you in that other people in here have described, I have received no reply. None whatsoever. Zero. Nada.
6. Today, of course, one of the subscriptions was renewed. I have seriously had it with this company. They operate under a cover of miscommunication and misinformation.
Besides this, and as advice to anybody who comes here looking for information on IceLotto, beware the positive reviews. I have won, over a month and a half, three and a half subscriptions, and over 200 euros spent (of which 62 are still in the account) 2.76 euros, with the highest one-time win being a little over 30 cents.
Avoid at all costs
Apparently they do not check for ages of people registering. I was just contacted by a representative at Ice Lotto. He wanted to speak to my 12 year old son who just registered with them. I don’t know about other countries but in Canada you must be 18 to play lotteries.
Regardless of some reviews here, i am very satisfied with ICELOTTO service. So far i won 300 euros with BONOLOTO. So far – very well.
