PrizePlay Exposed — Play That Scatchie to Win What?

PrizePlay Exposed

PrizePlay Review

I think the most creative part of the games at PrizePlay.com is the names. This site offers scratchies and games to win money and coins. Coins can be used to play more. Any play here is directly linked to your Facebook or email account. That’s the main way to register yourself. There is the option to set up an account and if you’re going to be cashing out, you need one.

What Is PrizePlay?

PrizePlay.come offers online scratchies and games, both to play officially and use their demo. I did have some fun with the demos. Players have 5 chances to see what they would have won. The games have creative names like Santa’s Wild Helpers, Greedy Servants, and Zombie Slot Mania. My personal favorite is the Exploding Pirates. Scratchies include cards like Punch Up and Life’s a Beach. There is also a second chance area to play more.

Who Can Participate?

Anyone can log in here with their Facebook, Google or email account and play. Supposedly, you must be 18 years or older, though it seems that if you’re 13 to 17 years of age, you can play with permission from your parents or guardian.

What Are the Prizes Offered by PrizePlay?

Players are playing for cash here, though some of the scratches have tickets to be won. I couldn’t find anywhere, where it says what they can be used for. Prizes vary for each scratchie but generally earn between the US $1 up to the US $500. There are some cash giveaways for $100, $150 and $500 at different times, but this is when reading the small print is important. These games are limited to people who are “legal residents” of Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Players must use one of their points collected in their PrizePlay account for each entry. Okay, weird – in PrizePlay’s small print, they say “slot games do not offer real money gambling or an opportunity to win real money or prizes” but then refers to actual opportunities to win real money prizes.

Who Owns PrizePlay?

PrizePlay is owned by Lottery Rewards, Inc. (LR) with a snail mail address in New York State. There are no other contact details. Click on Customer Support and it automatically opens a menu for you to choose Outlook, Yahoo, and Gmail to send an email though you can choose an alternative program. Then PrizePlay says they are a “certified StartUp NY company” that helps new business a chance to operate tax-free for 10 years, but businesses have to be on or near college or university campuses in NY State.

What Are the Terms & Conditions?

The terms and conditions at PrizePlay seem to focus on how to set up your account and/or the guidelines on their access to your social media account. Remember, you’re going to use Facebook, Google or your email account to register here. Other than that, there really aren’t any specific rules and regulations that apply.

How to Collect a Prize?

Players accumulate money in their account. Once the account has US $10 or more, you can request to be paid out. They will send you a check.

PrizePlay Feedback and Complaints

Interesting in bouncing around the web, Scam Advisor says that PrizePlay.com is actually owned by Amazon.com Inc. Other comments include this site is safe. I couldn’t find any complaints though I’m not sure if that simply means there aren’t that many people playing here.

Is PrizePlay.com Scam or Legit?

It’s hard to say whether this site is a scam or legit though I was put off by the questions on whether I am actually going to get anything. Add to that the lack of contact details.

Would you mind rating PrizePlay.com?

Bottom Line at PrizePlay.com

Given that even the prizes are pretty small compared to some of the other prize sites out there, I’m going to give PrizePlay a miss.

Pros:

Anyone Can Play

Simply Scatchie & Games

Second Chance to Win

Cons:

Limited Prizes

Not sure You Will Receive Your Winnings

Limited Contact Details

Yup – this site gets a thumb’s down. Just too limited in prizes and games though I do still say I like that Exploding Pirates.
